Clinical significance
Pass and fail crieteria based on the number of measured points with Gamma index less than 1 are not always sufficient. A full analysis should also take into account if the deviating points are located within a critical structure and how they influence the outcome of the treatment.
Delta4 uniquely uses the the patient's structures when it compares the measured and the calculated phanotm dose. Deviations are shown both graphically and in Dose Volume Histograms (DVH).
By quickly being able to assess the clinical relevance, QA efforts and in-depth analysis can be concentrated to those deviations that are of significance for the patients.
