What is important in verifying the dose delivery?
- Target volume: High demands on dose verification accuracy.
The dose must be verified with measurements with high accuracy in the target.
- Gradient region: High demands on dose and position verification.
The dose and position must be verified by measurements in fixed postions in the gradient region.
- Organs at risk: Verification is aimed at insuring that the prescription dose is not exceeded puts medium demands on accuracy.
Dose verification by measurements and complemented by full 3D reconstrucion of delivered dose to insure that overdosage does not occur in OAR.
